After Wicked our great friends Dave and Kasey met us and we at at the Grand Lux. Then we walked to Navy Pier and watched some fireworks. Since I love good conversation and really getting to know people, we brought out the “if” book while waiting for the fireworks and answered questions deep philosophical questions like “if you could be on character on tv who would it be.” There were no hotel rooms in the city available so Dave and Kasey crashed on our hotel room floor. That may be weird to some but that is how we like to roll!
The next morning we headed to Park church in the city and then took the architectural wendella boat tour.
We had amazing weekend. The weather was beautiful, the food was great and the company was fabulous. We drove back to Naperville and spent the rest of the time with family. I just had to include some pics of my beauties!
