Starbucks Etiquette

images1.jpgOk, since I work at Starbucks, I am going to do a reoccurring post that gives some Starbucks Etiquette.

Today I would like to talk about the “skinny” issue. If you are ordering something with nonfat/skim milk. Just say nonfat. We don’t say skinny. We don’t have a drink that has the word “skinny” in it. Up north, they say skim and that is ok. Just not “skinny.” That might be some other coffee shop lingo.

Tune in for some more etiquette.

update: now 2010…..we say skinny now. it means sugar free and non fat and no whip cream. thanks powers that be for making me look like a chump! 🙂
